After years of abuse, neglect and malnourishment as a traveling circus animal in Guatemala, Kazuma the lion is finally home. The Arthur E. Benjamin Foundation was instrumental in bringing this majestic animal to the Tigers for Tomorrow preserve in Alabama.
Arthur is widely known for his passionate dedication to animals, most notably through his non-profit organization American Dog Rescue. But cats need help too, and this big cat was in dire condition.
“When I heard about Kazuma’s prolonged suffering, I jumped at the chance to help bring him to the US for a second chance,” Arthur said. “Like any great dog I’ve helped rescue in my life, this beautiful animal deserved better.”
