Washington, DC – The Career College Association (CCA) announced today that Arthur Benjamin, Vice Chairman and CEO of ATI , a group of private postsecondary schools educating in four states, will replace William Clohan, founder and chairman of U.S. Education Corporation, on the CCA Board of Directors. Mr. Clohan’s schools recently became part of DeVry, Inc., where he remains an advisor.

“Arthur will be a fantastic addition to the CCA leadership,” says CCA President and CEO Harris N. Miller. “Few have as much experience in all aspects of higher education as he. His commitment to educating students for the 21st century is unrivaled. Bill Clohan’s shoes will be tough to fill, as he has been a longtime sector activist, and I am confident he will remain a major participant in the organization.”

Benjamin formerly served as Chairman & CEO of Datamark, Inc., the nation’s largest comprehensive marketing company exclusively for private postsecondary schools. He served as its President and thereafter Chairman & CEO, having joined it in 1995 after serving on its board of directors. He was also Executive Vice President of its public parent company, eCollege, after it acquired Datamark. He joined ATI in April of 2005.

Mr. Benjamin currently serves as a board member of Franklin Templeton Bank & Trust, ATI Enterprises, the Pasadena POPS Symphony, and the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges. He is noted for his philanthropic work throughout the United States.

Mr. Benjamin graduated from Clark University in 1969. He also holds an Honorary Doctorate of Management from Colorado Technical University.
