SALT LAKE CITY, UT (February 5, 2010) — Cheryl Smith, development director of “Camp K,” proudly announced the organizations’ first-ever presenting sponsor for their annual dinner scheduled to be held the evening of Friday, April 23. The event will be held at the panoramic Tower at Rice Eccles Stadium, University of Utah, beginning at 6:00 pm.
“We are thrilled that the Gail L. and Arthur E. Benjamin Foundation will be the presenting sponsor for our Send-a-Kid to Camp gala,” said Smith. “Their support will help fund camper scholarships enabling low-income people with disabilities to attend and enjoy a week of summer camp!”
“Camp K has been a beacon serving people with disabilities for 43 years,” said Benjamin. “I am honored to be a part of their positive work, bringing joy to people in the community and something special to those with special needs.”
